<p>I did some research and it seems that <a title="Prototype Official Website" href="http://www.prototypejs.org/">Prototype</a> and <a title="jQuery Official Website" href="http://jquery.com/">jQuery</a> are two of the more popular frameworks.</p>
<p>After reading <a title="Why I prefer prototype to jquery" href="http://blog.thinkrelevance.com/2009/1/12/why-i-still-prefer-prototype-to-jquery">this</a> and <a title="Slide Show - prototype to jquery" href="http://www.slideshare.net/remy.sharp/prototype-jquery-going-from-one-to-the-other">this</a>, I think Prototype is going to fit my needs better, though they both look promising.</p>
