Major Changes Coming Soon
Just a quick post as I’m heading out for lunch…
I started this website in 2007 and I wanted you all to know that I really appreciate you for reading and commenting. It has been a long and fun journey and I’m looking forward to what may come in the future.
With that being said, my life has changed a lot over the past few years and especially since last fall (I’m sure you’ve noticed I haven’t posted in several months now). I think it is time for a change for this website as well.
A new look? A new purpose? I’m not 100% sure yet, but something needs to change. (I need a new motivation to get posting again,
New year – clean start?
I think it’s about time for a fresh start for my laptop.
I have had Windows XP (used about 10% of the time), Windows Vista (used only one time, literally), and Ubuntu 9.10 (upgraded gradually from 7.04) for several years now.
Vista is just wasting 50GB of disk space, Windows is becoming bogged down (as windows does over time), and I think I am ready to change from 32 bit Ubuntu to 64 bit.
I am not sure when I will have time for all of this, but hopefully in a few weeks. I’ll keep you all posted.
Perhaps this will be motivation for a new tutorial on dual-boot installation of Ubuntu and Windows.
